Just purchased; This step by step is a little confusing. Is there perhaps a video tutorial?

Just brilliant Iskren, it really is. Amazing graphics in the WeatherVue widget and then your mini drawer is screen space saving in 'expert mode'! Really enjoy using this now and your instructions were easy to follow. If only we could stop it briefly opening Shortcuts app before opening the app we have tapped on, it would be perfect. Regards, Richard B.

first timer here and I created the widget using your step by step guide, but for some reason I do not see an export on my Widgy app. I see create new and Import. I contacted widgy via reddit but no support at all. Any idea on why export is missing?

Hey! You don’t need to export the widget - just assign it to an empty widget slot and then summon that slot to your home screen. You can check out my video tutorials here: https://www.thisise.tech/store.

One last question. When using the popcorn or a photo, how do you remove the background from the image you are using? I’m very familiar with photoshop but I don’t see an option to import your own photo.

Love the mini drawer, thank you for the guidance. I already have it up and running, just can’t seem to make the apps pop in full color. They are dim compared to everything else, is there something I’m missing?

Hey, that's great news! Just make sure the background is behind the apps and that the apps are not see-through.

Okay understood. I believe the background is layered correctly as that tab is all the way at the bottom but how do I check if the image is see through? I’ve been searching and testing but cannot find anything to implement a change.

whats annoying is everytime we tap of the app, it takes 2 seconds to open the app because of widgy getting triggered.. prefer to instantly tap

This might be a very basic question, but is there a basic shortcut for creating icons w/ notifications; or making individuals of each?

Awesome! Do ou by any chance, have a video written tutorial on how to use the shortcut app to make this work? Most of the app I use frequently are not on it :/

Have you been able to make the iOS 17 widget reload change work so that the apps load without opening Widgy first? I have not been able to figure that part out yet. I feel like I might be missing a step, but haven’t seen any widgets that help me figure it out. Thanks

Love the Mini Drawer! However when setting up the link to the apps, not all my apps appear in the list...even though the App images are available. For example the Amazon Music app image is available but the URL link to the Amazon Music app is not on the Third Part Apps list. I was also looking for the TP Link Deco app - again app image is available but app link is not on the list. Is there a workaround for this? Or even a way to populate the App list with the apps available on your individual phone?

Reply or advice would be greatly appreciated - Thanks

The only workaround is to use Shortcuts for opening the apps where in Widgy you can trigger the Shortcut upon tapping.

OK thanks - I tried that and it did work, but it also has to jump through 2 screens to open the shortcut. Whilst Mini Drawer icons looks pretty and minimalistic, the smoothmness of the action doesn't match that aesthetic, which is a bit of a shame. Thanks for the workaround anyway!

I can't make it transparent, the app icon is "hiding" behind the transparent picture solution?

I believe he has simply stacked widgets and his VPN widget happens to be above his drawer widget.
