So, there’s a wild rumor floating around that One UI 7’s AI might be a little too good - good enough to make you question privacy itself.
People have been playing around with Generative Fill on the new Galaxy S25 series, taking pictures with their hands covering their faces, only to have the AI magically remove them and reveal… their actual faces underneath. Sounds cool, right? Except some folks tried this on brand-new devices with no personal photos or accounts linked - yet somehow, the AI still managed to conjure up a disturbingly accurate version of their face.
Naturally, I had to put it to the test. The results? Both impressive and mildly terrifying (in a good way).
• When I completely covered my face, the AI turned me into some random stranger - great for an instant identity swap, I guess.
• When I left even the tiniest bit of my face exposed, the AI filled in the rest with unsettling accuracy but using the same visible half, turning me into a weird creature.
The takeaway? I’m relieved to know that my uniquely dorky features are apparently beyond AI’s grasp. And for once, after years of hearing, “Hey, you kinda look like James McAvoy!” - the AI decided otherwise. Progress.
But let’s be real—Galaxy AI is doing some serious wizardry here. It’s handling all of this on-device and at lightning speed compared to past generations of devices and software. If you want to see just how far AI-powered editing has come, check out my full video on the Galaxy S25 Ultra below:

Hahahahajaja, nice experiment Mr. E! God bles :)
